Jam Nice CIC

Jam Nice was formed in 2023 to facilitate participation in music as an art form, with a focus on producing events to benefit the grassroots music movement in Bristol. Jam Nice aims to create the conditions required for artists from all backgrounds to participate and thrive. Since its inception, Jam Nice has produced over 150 live events featuring local and international artists.

We leverage the skills, knowledge and resources of the team behind The Jam Jar to navigate the barriers to performing and accessing music in Bristol. Through our work we address financial obstacles and visa complications for international and local artists, and work closely with The Jam Jar to provide access to equipment and opportunities.

We believe music can be a force for good.

Projects

Ghana Music Special

Funded by Arts Council England. This project brings together artists from the UK & Ghana to record, produce and release new content. Jam Nice is the lead partner in this project, working in collaboration with Arts La’Olam, K.O.G, Producer Sam Jones, Africa Night Fever & Volta 45 amongst others. We will create a ‘cultural bridge‘ between The UK & Ghana, & establish strong partnerships for future collaborative works.

Project was completed in December of 2024 full project overview and outcomes below.

Live Shows

Jam Nice produces live shows at a number of venues across Bristol, and lends support to festival programmers seeking more diversity in their lineups. Our shows regularly feature artists from global majority groups and strive to represent all parts of the world through music.
